2018 PKC Michigan Summer Madness - Monday

The first night of the 2018 PKC Michigan Summer Madness kicked off in Reading last night with 90 entries.  The Southern Michigan raccoons cooperated nicely and all of the 23 casts finished the one hour contest with plus points!  Due to the fouth and fifth high scores being tied, there was a Final FIve.  They chose to split the $550 in Added Purse and the $1,229.20 in PKC earnings and call it a night. The next four highest scoring cast winners, sixth through ninth, split $200 Added Purse in addition to their $276.84 cast win earnings.  The remaining cast winners earned $69.21 each.  Shown below are Monday’s Final Five (L-R):

Melt Down Clinches 2018 Pro Lead @ Shelburn, IN Blue Ribbon

Congratulations to Dustin Weed for handling Full Throttle Melt Down to their big win at the 2018 PKC Blue Ribbon Pro Hunt in Shelburn, Indiana over the weekend. “Down” is a 2012 Treeing Walker male co-owned by Landreth or Landreth of Vardaman, Mississippi and handled by Dustin Weed of Prairie, Mississippi.  This win bumps "Down's" PKC 2018 Blue Ribbon Earnings to $18,266.66 and his PKC Lifetime Earnings to $192,003.42!  HUGE thanks go out to all the members at the Shelburn Club who organized this event, along with everyone who judged, guided, participated, or helped out in any other way. You all did an awesome job with this hunt!
