In a surprise move, the four finalists in the second last Blue Ribbon Pro Hunt of the 2017 season, chose the split option of $2,300 each and head for the ranch early tonight. The Final Four dogs and handlers are shown below with the weekend's full-time judges, left to right: Mike Dowler, Shane Patton, Darrell Mayne and John Ervin. The sixth and final night of the 2017 PKC Michigan Summer Madness had 63 entries, including one Youth Cast. The Youth were hunting for a $100 guaranteed cast win, while the Open Event hunters were competing for the $3,650 in Added Purse and PKC Awards. The Final Four chose to split the $1,250 Added Purse along with the $1,100 in PKC earnings. The next ten highest scoring cast winners, fifth through fourteenth places, split $750 Added Purse in addition to their $500 cast win earnings. Shown below are Saturday’s Final Four (L-R):

Friday night is always the largest entry of the week-long PKC Michigan Summer Madness, and tonight was no exception. At entry deadline, we had 95 PKC Members signed up at Adrian to compete for the $4,612.50 in Added Purse and PKC Awards. The Final Four chose to split the $1,250 Added Purse along with the $1,160 in PKC earnings.
