These hounds advance to the semifinal round on Friday night. The rest of us have Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights to join them. Wish us luck!
The weather has been picture perfect here in Aurora thus far. The autumn foliage is beautiful and the nights have been mild and void of rain or wind. The forecast is a 30% chance of rain on Tuesday night.
Crowds are tremendous and everyone seems to sense the feeling of unity that is sweeping our nation. We hunted 419 hounds on Monday night and the entry lines ebb and flow through the afternoon. We expect another 400 hounds to compete in night number two.
If it is in the realm of possibility for you, come on down to the Land Between the Lakes and join us. We’re having a great world hunt. There’s more to come on Wednesday morning when we post the Tuesday night winners.
