This is Mississippi State Championship weekend in
Louisville, Mississippi. Sixteen hounds competed, f illing the entry for the State Champion title.

First place in the Final Four and the Mississippi State Champion crown was won by Southern Suzie, a Walker female owned and handled by Eddie Simmons of Long Beach, Mississippi. Simmons was number 17 on the Mississippi State Leader Board for the 2001 competition year and fortunately was able to hunt in the Top 16 when one no-show occurred. Here are the remaining finishers in the Final Four:
