Iola, Tex. - The Lone Star 5000 staged each January in the east central town of Iola, Texas is one of the premier events on the PKC Major Event schedule each year. The last two events have featured PKC Bench Shows in an effort to extend the "5000's" appeal to all aspects of the coonhound fancy. The 2002 event featured a show on Saturday afternoon with Dr. Jay Benton, Harry Lister, and Ray Prince serving as the three-judge panel. Here are the judge's picks for PKC earnings at the Iola show:
