Owensboro, KY - PKC members will be saddened to hear of the death of Donald E. "Donnie" Vanover, 63, of Ut ica, Kentucky. Donnie died Saturday, Dec. 14, 2002, at Owensboro Mercy Health System. He was a McLean County native and was a logger, a Methodist, a member of Daviess County Coon Club, the PKC National Coonhound Association, and was a Kentucky Colonel.

Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Regina Vanover; two sons, Troy Vanover and Donald "Mouse" Vanover, both of Utica; five grandchildren; and three sisters, Nelda Baird of Philpot, Linda Gabbert of Hickory Flat, Miss., and Patsy Smith of Utica.

Services are at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Glenn Funeral Home in Owensboro. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Livermore. Visitation is from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday, December 16 and after 9 a.m. Tuesday, December 17 at the funeral home.
