Eufaula, AL - The 2004 PKC Sunshine Jamboree had to share the spotlight this week with the PKC/JOY Handler Showdown and compete with one of the largest hunts in the south hosted by another registry. The entry of 435 was strong by any standards. When you consider the purse totaled $16,662.50, it raised the bar considerably for competition hunting in the South. The entry will no doubt pale in future years as the combination of facility, location, and club cooperation continue to reap even greater results.

It was a great weekend of fellowship and fun and there was but one question brought to in three nights, evidence of PKC pride in action.

We appreciate the efforts of Barbour County Coon Hunter's Association. They are a great bunch of folks that are absolutely dedicated to producing quality PKC major events. Rumors are flying of even greater purses. No doubt those that came and enjoyed this hunt this year will tell their friends. We hope you will put it on your calendar for 2005.
