NY "Youth Pleasure Hunt"

Sandy Creek, NY – I received the following note from NY member, Chad Martin.

This is a picture of the youth pleasure hunt we held on August 18, 2007. It was not a sanctioned hunt but I was wondering if you could put it on the front page for the kids. And could you also put it on the NY page because I am not able to do it. The names of the kids from left to right are as follows: Autumn Reid, Jesse Spink, Jacob Hellinger, Sierra Spink, Michaela Martin, Kylee Martin, Zachary Martin, Abby Carroll, Conner Carroll, Freedom (Boda), Bubba, Hunter Choquette, Caleb Miller. If you would do this I think the kids would really think it was cool. We had a barbecue, played games before the hunt and ice cream after. We had a wonderful night with the kids getting to see a bunch of treed coon.

Also, if you would add that we (Oswego County Houndsmen) will be having a youth hunt next year with the same setup, but we will be adding a section where the kids can compete for prizes if they want or they can just pleasure hunt. Whatever suits them. This hunt is free to all kids and whomever comes with them. It is a great time and we hope to have a bunch more attend next year.
