Bear Creek Classic Warm-Up - Tuesday

Allen Jones of Sportmix Dog Food filed the following report on the Tuesday night edition of the Bear Creek Classic:

Edina, MO – The Tuesday night edition of the 2010 Bear Creek Classic saw a total of 67 dogs vying for a Final Four spot. All casts, with one exception, were won with plus points. The winter ice and snow are gone and the creeks are all full and moving, and so are the coons. Still a little cool, but just right for the dogs. Some real good scores were brought in with Rusty, owned by R & R Kennels, and handled by Rusty Patterson scoring 675+ to be the high scoring dog of the first round. Diamond, owned by Keller/Booth, and handled by Randy Booth scored 450+; Deuce, owned and handled by Jeremy McCallis scored 375+; and Rock, owned and handled by Roger Van Meter with 325+ rounded out the Final Four. From there we had a tie for 5th between Tess, handled by Bob Almond, and Hank, handled by Wes Hamilton. Other cast winners will be pictured on the General Message Forum. Sportmix Dog Food gave five (5) 50# bags of 24/20 dog food donated by Cornhill Kennel Co, and Allen and Jackie Jones…………….
