St. Leon, IN - The turnout for the Labor Day Classic "kick off" in St. Leon was overwhelming to say the le ast. There were many predictions as to just how big the turn out would be. Most said 30-35 entries. All were astounded when the parking lot and the long driveway filled completely. They were literally "parked down to the highway”. We put sixty-eight hounds in the woods, seventeen full casts. Not bad for a one hour hunt on a Monday night! All casts but one scored on coon and not one question was brought back to hunt director James Tirey. The top four cast winners chose to split at $290 each and the remaining thirteen cast winners each took home $54.62 for their efforts. Here are the final results.
