Congratulations to 2022 PKC Labor Day Classic Champion Ramblin' Fever. "Fever" is a 2016 model Treeing Walker male owned by Berry/Allen/Sweet and handled by Anthony Allen of Scottsburg, IN. Fever accumulated 1,050 plus points in three early round cast wins this weekend. The 2022 LDC Champion, shown below, earned an extra $200 Added Purse sponsored by PKC and the beautiful LDC Champion Plaque.

The final night of the 2022 Labor Day Classic saw 35 hounds and handlers brave the heavy rain and thunderstorms. The wet weather didn't put a damper on the raccoons scored as all nine of the casts came back to the North Vernon, IN fairgrounds with plus points. The Final Four split the $1,000 Added Purse and chose to hunt for the $1,424 in PKC Open Event Earnings. The other ten cast winners split up $500 in CW earnings. The Labor Day Classic continued Friday night in North Vernon, Indiana with 54 hounds filing into the fairgrounds. The weather heated up as did the action, as twelve of the fourteen casts came back to the fairgrounds on the plus side of the scorecard! The Final Four split the $1,000 Added Purse and chose to hunt for the $1,972 in PKC Open Event Earnings. The other ten cast winners split up $1,000 in CW earnings. The Labor Day Classic In North Vernon, Indiana kicked off with 59 hounds heading to the Southern Indiana timber. The weather continued to cooperate as well as the raccoons, as twelve of the fifteen casts came back to the fairgrounds with plus points! The Final Four split the $1,000 Added Purse and chose to hunt for the $2,144 in PKC Open Event Earnings. The other eleven cast winners split up $1,100 in CW earnings. The third and final night of warm-up events for the 2022 Labor Day Classic saw 46 hounds and handlers on a cool crisp night in southeast Indiana. Coons seem to cooperate as eleven of the twelve casts came back to the Dupont club with plus points! The Final Four split the $500 Added Purse along with the $1,732 in PKC Open Event Earnings. The second night of the 2022 Labor Day Classic in Cross Plains, Indiana saw 44 hounds and handlers make it to the entry table. Cool was the word of the night as cool temperatures have moved in and the coons seem to enjoy the nice weather.
