The thirty double cast winners in the 2012 PKC National Championship have been drawn into eight cast and are in the woods now determining who will be the Final Eight contestants. These “Top Eight” will draw into four “Heads-Up” casts heading back to the woods in the wee hours of the morning to determine the Final Four. The Top Four hounds and handlers will compete Sunday night April 01, for the top awards, titles and bragging rights.
Last year the 2011 PKC National Championship purse was $75,750. The 2012 PKC National Championship purse is up an astounding $26,650, mainly due to increased entries. Here is the break down of the enormous 2012 PKC National Championship awards package:
