We received the sad news today that Mojo had passed at the early age of eight years and two months old. A hound with this kind of performance in the woods and in the breeding pen does not come along very often.

Mojo was bred by Elliott M. Shuler of Holly Hill, SC and was born October 06, 2006.  His sire was 2003 PKC Spring Super Stakes Junior Champion, PCH Davis' Sty Harry's Hammer and his dam was Smoky Mtn J-Lo. In July of 2007 Mojo was permanently registered by Robert Raxter of Brevard, NC.  Two years later, in March of 2009, Mojo was transferred to the ownership of Scott Engle and Robert Raxter.  In November 2009 his ownership changed again to Scott Engle and J.C. Ellis.

In 2008 Mojo was crowned the PKC Spring Super Stakes Junior Champion. He followed this huge win up by retuning to Sullivan, Indiana and capturing the PKC Spring Super Stakes Senior Championship in 2009. Mojo also reached the Final Four of the PKC Senior Dog Showdown in February of 2010.  All in all, Mojo’s PKC earnings
were $48,342.10 before he was retired to the breeding pen.

As a reproducer, Mojo put some great numbers on the board. To date he has sired 1,641 pups that have earned $392,534.16. Both of these numbers will continue to grow for years to come with pups on the ground, females bred and frozen semen in storage.

Our sincere condolences go out to all involved with the life and times of PCH Boogar Hollow Mojo, a once in a lifetime hound!
