The 2020 edition of the PKC Fall Super Stakes Championships gets underway next week in Salem, Illinois. There are several restrictions that have been implemented by the State of Illinois, County of Marion, IL and the City of Salem. Those restrictions include that everyone will be required to wear a mask and maintain social distancing, everyone will be required to have his/her temperature taken before entering the building, and we are not permitted to have more than fifty (50) people inside the building at any given time.
Also, the Marion County Fairgrounds will be requiring that everyone sign a waiver releasing the fair board and its’ members of any liability in relation to Covid-19.
I plead with each and every person planning to attend the Fall Super Stakes to PLEASE put forth your best effort to abide by these rules and guidelines. The Youth World Championship and World Championship is scheduled to begin less than a month after the completion of the Fall Super Stakes, and I truly believe that the way PKC members conduct themselves and abide by these restrictions next week will have a large effect on whether or not we will be allowed to hold these two (2) events in October.
Please plan to confirm your entry as early as possible each day. We have increased entry taking time by one (1) hour, beginning at 2 pm daily to try and eliminate the last-minute rush for members to get their entry confirmed. The earlier you confirm your entry, the better it will be for everyone. Please try and be as patient as is humanly possible, as this is going to be a slow process.
At this time, we do not know what the restrictions will be in October. In fact, we don’t know if there will be any restrictions, or if the restrictions will be more complex. What I do know is that the way people conduct themselves next week will have a large bearing on the October events. I’m very satisfied that the authorities will be constantly observing everyone’s observance of the restrictions, and truly don’t want to be denied the opportunity to hold our October events simply because some chose to disregard the restrictions imposed. Again, I ask that everyone abide by the imposed restrictions during these difficult times.
THANK YOU!

no better place to have big hunts than salem. Great hunting in majority of casts. Always gonna be a few exceptions. Plenty of coon, and flat hunting.
