It was a great day in Red House West Virginia for the Eastern Region Championship with good running and great weather and great sportsmanship. The event had sponsorship with A&K Dog supply of Red House giving a leash and collar to the winners and Dairy Freeze of Winfield donating some great food.

Six dogs went to the field in two cast with Robert Dunlap of Red House West Virginia winning cast #1 with his dog Ruby and Todd Atkins of Bluefield West Virginia winning cast #2 with his dog Bill and in the winners pack it was Robert Dunlap and Ruby getting the win and Brandan Dunlap winning the calcutta.

The Putnam County Beagle Club would like to thank all that came out and everyone that helped out with this event.

In the bench show we had 5 dogs 4 males and 1 female and Brandan Dunlap got the win with his dog Punkin.

 In the open event, and the 2nd hunt of the day, we 3 cast with 10 dogs and the winners split for $50.00 with Brandan Dunlap of Winfield winning cast #1 with his dog Punkin, Tommy Hodges of Hurricane winning cast #2 with his dog Sonny, and Josh Estes of Hurricane winning cast #3 handling Whitie Magee for owner David Rutledge.
