The 2022 PKC National Championship is this week at the Marion County Fairgrounds in Salem, Illinois. The event begins on Wednesday March 23, 2022 with the first of three (3) qualifying nights. Any dog winning its’ early and late rounds on either Wednesday 03/23/22, Thursday 03/24/22, or Friday 03/25/22 will advance to the semi-finals on Saturday night. Any dog winning its’ early round cast but failing to advance to the semi-finals on either qualifying night will receive a $350 cast winner award. This cast winner award may be used to re-enter the following night should the owner choose to do so, with the difference being paid in cash to the owner of the dog.


Entries will be taken between 4 PM and 6 PM each night Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Casts will compete under Open Event rules on the early and late rounds on all three (3) qualifying nights. Early round casts will hunt for two (2) hours and late round casts will compete for ninety (90) minutes on all three (3) qualifying nights. The semi-finals and finals will compete under Pro rules with non-hunting judges in two (2) hour casts on the early round and ninety (90) minutes on the late round Saturday night. The final cast will compete for two (2) hours to determine the 2022 National Champion!

Individual semi-finalist pictures will be taken between 5 PM and 6 PM on Saturday 03/26/2022. We ask that all semi-finalists PLEASE be prompt during this time!
