2020 PKC Labor Day Classic – Friday
North Vernon, IN -
Friday September 04, 2020
The second last night of the 25th Annual PKC Labor Day Classic week had 102 hounds and hunters lined up at the entry deadline. We had beautiful fall-like weather, with the thermometer dipping into the low 50's after midnight. According to the scores, the raccoon movement must have been spotty! The Final Cast decided to take advantage of the cooler weather and find out who had the best for the night. They split the $1,000 added Purse and hunted for the $1,160 in PKC Open Event Awards. The twenty-two other cast winners enjoyed the highly popular $100 CW earnings. Shown below are Friday’s Final Four (L-R):

The third night of the 25th Annual PKC Labor Day Classic week drew 50 entries at Clifty Creek CHA in Dupont, Indiana. This club has some fond old memories for me, as it was the host of the very first Coonhound Event that I ever attended. Man, how things have changed since that warm, spring Saturday in 1979. Hope to see Ya'll at the Jennings County Fairgrounds in North Vernon tomorrow night. Tonight's Final Four split the $500 Added Purse along with the $925 in PKC Open Event Earnings. The other nine cast winners split $450. Shown below are Wednesday’s Finalists (L-R):

2020 PKC Labor Day Classic WarmUp – Monday
Sunman, IN -
Monday August 31, 2020
We had some milder weather to kick off the 25th Annual PKC Labor Day Classic week here in Southeastern, Indiana. It cooled down to 70 degrees by turn-loose time, with the Weather Man promising mid-sixties by the 2:00 AM deadline. There were forty-five eager hunters showing up at the Sunman Fish & Game Club this last night of August, for a chance at the PKC Race Money and $500 Added Purse, provided by Earl Floyd Ford of Carrollton, Kentucky. The raccoon did not cooperate so well, as evidenced by the low scoring in the one-hour contest. Everyone seemed to be having a great time! The Final Five split up the $500 Added Purse along with the $887.50 in PKC Open Event Earnings. The other cast winners split $350. Shown below are Monday’s Final Five (L-R):
