Happy Thanksgiving, From The PKC Family To Yours!

White, frosty leaves cover the ground
Wood smoke is in the air
It’s time to gather ‘round the table
For blessings that we’ll share

The cows, they look so downy
In their winter coats so furry
They head to the barn for corn and hay
With every squall and flurry

Your doe is in a freezer
But the buck, he still abounds
If you want the holiday goodies
You had better stay around

This workweek is a short one
So forget about being stressed
The children in the nest again
A time we feel so blessed

May your holiday be festive
Your family be delighted
The turkey so outstanding
Your spirit reignited

Make the most of this special day
Sample each and every flavor
Ham, dressing and pie are great
But, it’s the kinship that you’ll savor

Take stock in what we’ve been given
From God’s endless riches
Belly up to the bountiful table
And unbutton your shrinking britches

Remember to give thanks to the Lord above
For good family and great friends
While gathering for your annual feast
Pray for peace that never ends.
