The 2001 PKC Blue Ribbon series of events, commonly called the Pro Hunts, has been won by GCH Kiddy’s Wipe out Ruby, a four-year old Walker female owned by Barry Kiddy of Adamsville, TN. Kiddy and Ruby tallied $9333.33 on the year in their winning effort.

The Blue Ribbon series consists of monthly events open to 64 dogs on a reservation only basis. The entry fee is $250 per event which narrows the field to only those handlers who have confidence in the ability of their hounds to compete under pro rules and pro judges while facing the toughest of competition.

GCH Wipeout Ruby was sired by PCH Zeb’s Wipeout Koy who in turn was sired by PCH Wipeout Zeb, all owned by Barry Kiddy at one time. Zeb’s sire was GCH Flatrock Coma. Ruby’s dam was Eaton’s Little Queen, a single registered female.

Ruby put together the following wins in her successful attempt to gain the Pro Division Leader crown:

Grand Saline, TX in March – First Place - $4000
Leoma, TN in March – Third Place - $800
Onsted, MI in May – Second Place - $1600
Coalgate, OK in July – Fourth Place - $400
Greencastle, IN in August – Fourth Place - $400
Mt. Orab, OH in September – Third Place Split - $2133.33

Yearly total - $9333.33
