PKC Chaplain Critically Ill

Joe Brooks, PKC's chaplain and founder of Coon Hunters for Christ, a ministry outreach to coon hunters, is in critical condition in the ICU at a Mineral Wells, Texas hospital. According to Callie Brooks, his wife, Joe had surgery on Tuesday, January 15 in which a portion of his small intestine was removed. Gangrene had developed increasing the seriousness of his condition but doctors are hopeful it has been arrested by the surgery. Brooks had not regained consciousness at the time of this report. PKC members are asked to pray for Joe's recovery and for his family in this critical and obviously stressful period of their lives.
