Obituary - Rev. Joe Brooks

The arrangements for PKC Chaplain, Joe Brooks, have been completed. Wake services will be held on Sunday, March 3, 2002, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardener Funeral Home located at 302 West Hubbard in Mineral Wells, Texas. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 4, 2002, at 4:00 PM at the Lawn Terrace Baptist Church in Mineral Wells.

Mr. Joe was born in the Rock Springs Community of Montaque County, Texas in 1937. He was sixty-four years old at the time of his passing, and is survived by his wife, Callie, seven children, three stepchildren, and nineteen grandchildren.

The entire PKC family is saddened by the passing of “one of our own”, and would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to the Joe Brooks Family. We also feel that we have lost a family member. Please remember that time heals all wounds, and that although we may not understand the reason at the time, God has a reason for all things.
