North Vernon, IN - The show dogs are coming! Friday noon is the date for the annual PKC Labor Day Classic Bench Show. This will be the final stop on the 2002 tour and will offer a grand opportunity for the hopeful owners of future PKC World Show Champions to qualify their hounds for the big dance in Aurora on October 26th.

The Friday show offers the perfect opportunity for those who will be showing their Champions and Grands at Autumn Oaks on Saturday, to come down to North Vernon for our Friday show. The distance is about 75 miles, straight down Route 3. Just go west on I-70 and take Route 3 south to North Vernon. The fairgrounds is on the left as you approach the city.

We will feature four shows on Friday: Open, Open Performance, Super Stakes, and Champions. There is an added purse of $1000 in addition to the normal cash awards paid from the Charts. Here's how the added purse will be distributed:

Best Male of Open Show - $100
Best Female of Open Show - $100

Best Male of Open Performance Show - $100
Best Female of Open Performance Show - $100

Best Male of Super Stakes Show - $200
Best Female of Super Stakes Show - $200

Best Male of Champions Show - $100
Best Female of Championsh Show - $100

Qualification for the PKC World Show Championship - Earn $100 in PKC awards (includes added purses) before October 1st, 2002 and you are qualified!

The PKC World Show will feature a $2000 Added Purse!

The PKC Bench Show Extravaganza V, featuring $2000 in added purse will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 26th in Aurora, KY. The PKC World Show Championship will follow at 1:00 PM!
