Lakeview, MI - PKC hunting has not been around very long here in the land of the big lakes but if one club in west central Michigan has its way, it will be here for a long time to come.

The club at Lakeview, Michigan, about 40 miles north of Grand Rapids off highway M-46 held its last PKC Open Event of the season with 10 hounds participating in the $25 event. Each of the three casts hunted close and were back well before the 2:00 AM deadline. Each had a winner with plus points.

Hunt Director Garrett Black has carried the ball for Lakeview, keeping the hunts on track and handling the paperwork. He received the thanks of the hunters and of PKC Michigan State President Mike Lennon who was on hand Saturday night to hunt and just to give support to the club. Mike is doing a great job as well, making the rounds this summer to hunts at locations like Marcellus and first time PKC clubs like Maple Rapids.
