Sesser, IL - The PKC pup hunts just keep getting richer and richer. The award schedule for the 2002 PKC F uturity Championship this weekend has been announced and the winners will take home more money than ever before. With an eleven percent increase in entries, from 493 last year to this year's entry of 552 the awards have increased as well. Here's the schedule:

First place - $12,500
Second place - $5,500
Third place - $4,000
Semifinalists (3 cast wins) - $1,200 each
Quarterfinalists (2 cast wins) - $500 each

Total awards - $39,100

The casts have been drawn, the judges and guides announced and the photo session is history. All is ready for the third night of the prestigious PKC Futurity Championship.

A Play by Play special section is provided on the Message Forum and will feature the early round cast winners and the late round matchups tonight with the final nine dogs being posted early Sunday morning.

The host club is holding an Open Event with $500 added tonight as well as a pup derby. Seventy-five hounds have entered the Open and twenty-two pups are participating in the Pup Derby.

Join us tomorrow night, Sunday, for the Play by Play from the woods featuring all the action of the final cast. With the best three pups of the 2002 Futurity participating for the first prize of $12,500, it should be a hum dinger!
