Smithland, KY - This writer is disappointed that we don't have a winner to declare at the 2003 PKC Squirrel Dog Handler's Run-off. The cast winners in Round Two elected to split the purse and call it a day. In this writer's opinion, the PKC Squirrel rules may need to be tightened up a turn or two in order to provide the program with a single Run-off Champion each year. But in PKC the hunters establish the rules under which they will hunt. Since this program is still in its infancy, no doubt rules committees of the future will address matters of this type.
