North Vernon, IN – Joe and Jason Webster, the father/son team from Graysville, Pennsylvania have done it a gain. Back in June the duo won the PKC National Bench Show Championship with their Plott dog, Little Joe. The team from the Keystone State backed up that prestigious win on the PKC/Purina National Bench Show Tour by taking Best Overall Hound in Show at the recent PKC Labor Day Classic.

The “Best Overall” title is presented in honor of the memory of long-time PKC show judge Jim Wilkinson of Louisville, Kentucky. Mr. Wilkinson, affectionately known as “Big Jim,” passed away in October of last year. He judged the PKC Labor Day Classic show many times over the years and is sadly missed.

In a run-off of the Best Male and Best Female of Show winners from the Open, Open Performance, Baby Super Stakes, Junior Super Stakes, Senior Super Stakes, and Champions shows, Little Joe defeated the Best Overall Female, Blue Light Special, a Bluetick owned and handled by Chelsea Officer of Irvine, Kentucky for the “Best Overall Hound In Show” title.

The Webster’s operate Divided Acres Kennels in Graysville and are regular participants in the PKC/Purina National Bench Show Tour. Their hound, Little Joe was judged and declared the overall winner by a three-judge panel consisting of Bill Clawson of Bradford, OH, Kimberly Scott of Martin, MI, and Mike Kramer of Batesville, IN.
