Aurora, KY – The third night of competition ends well for the following twenty-two late round cast winners . The weather was picture perfect and most of the late casts returned before the seven o’clock deadline with plus points.

One night remains for those that are still in search of the coveted PKC World Coonhound Championship title for their hounds. The entry for the three nights of competition this week stands at 1008 with the fourth and final night of qualification tonight. All hounds that have won two casts in one of the four nights will draw out on Friday evening in the Quarterfinal round.

The PKC youth hunters are coming to town on Friday also and will meet at the Tennis Center at 11 AM before heading to the Willow Pond Restaurant for their annual luncheon with JOY Dog Food. The ladies at the World Hunt are invited to a luncheon at Patti’s Settlement in Grand Rivers on Friday at 1: 45 PM. Weber’s Photography will be on hand from 11 AM until 3 PM to photograph all the leaders of the various state and national races as well as the various champions. Friday is a big day at the World Hunt with all this plus the Quarterfinal Round of the World Hunt and the opening round of the PKC National Youth Championship.
