Selmer, Tn-- That’s Gonna Hurt, owned by Barry Kiddy and Bryon Owens, was the 1st place winner la st night in the finals of the One Year Old Division of the 2005 PKC Futurity. Hurt, a direct son of Skuna River Bark, finished the hunt with circle points to win the coveted title. Second place was won by Legend, a son of Stylish Jake, and owned and handled by Brent Roberson. Third place was Harry, owned by the trio of Smith/Cannon/Vogel and handled by Jackie Coomer. Harry is a son of Stylish Harry, Jr.

This was the first year for the yearlings and two year olds to be split up at the futurity. Tonight’s event is the finals of the Two Year Old Division. We will be bringing that final cast to you by play by play. In the running this evening are Gander, owned by John Abrams, Witch Doctor, owned by Travis Still and handled by Joe Lueke, and Anne owned by Wayne Radford and handled by Charlie Frye.
