Aurora, KY - The Final Night—Super Stakes Championships

It has come down to the final night of the Super Stakes Championships. It has been a long, hard battle for these pups, along with the owners and handlers. They competed in the hard rain on Thursday, perfect weather conditions Friday and Saturday, and then biting cold temperatures last night. They have all proven, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that they are the cream that has come to the top. They are the ones that we wish we had one like in our on backyard.

Kicking it off with the Juniors it is Long Shot Lace owned by Jimmy Fortenberry of Icard, NC. Lace is a Walker female born in November of 2004. She is sired by Maniac’s Long Shot and Sackett, Jr shows up as her grandsire on the bottom. Prior to arriving at Aurora, Lace’s lifetime earnings was just over $145. The next one, Hardwood Paniac Ranger is owned by Bruce White of Kentucky. Ranger is a son of Swamp’s Little Panic. Ranger is a Cross Bred hound born in November of 2004. His lifetime earnings to date are just shy of $370. Rounding out the field and the youngest in the group is Hayes’ Wipeout Calyton owned by Calvin Hayes and handled by Scott Engle, both of Ohio. Clayton, a Walker male, is a son of Wipeout Zack with Lookin Up Jeb and Nocturnal Nailor showing in his lower pedigree. Clayton born in January of 2005 has lifetime earnings at $160 prior to tonight.

Finalizing the field of Seniors, is Childers’/Farmer’s Ol Chubby, owned by Leon Childers and Jerry Farmer and handled by Farmer, both from Ohio. Chubby is a Walker male born in December of 2003. Upon arrival at Aurora, Chubby had a lifetime earning almost $15,000. He is sired by Hardwood Maniac, Jr with Hammering Earl and Rat Attack showing on his bottom side. The next one to introduce is High Stakes Hooker, a Walker female owned by Lipscomb/Whiteford and handled by Kris Whitelock, all hail from Indiana. Hooker came to Aurora with just over $2200 won in PKC. She is a daughter of SCH Mud Creek Tuff (Stylish Clover x Gadd’s Singin YaYa). On her bottom side is Tar Heel Nitro and PCH Majors’ Bandit. She was born in January of 2004. The last one in the field is Vogel’s Stylish Pick, a Walker male, owned by Rick and Berle Vogel. Born in January of 2004, his lifetime earnings are just over $1600. He is sired by Fletcher’s Stylish Jake. The bottom side carries Hayes, Jr.
