Report from Jason McKinley. “The Thursday edition o f the Metro East Classic saw 33 hounds and handlers competing in the $55 open event with a $500 added purse. We saw good scores for a one hour hunt, and all cast winners returned with plus points. The final four chose to split for $164.38 open money and $125 added money each. Kenny Overbey and Pearl are leading the week with 3 cast wins, looking good for the Trammel Creek Dog Box.”

The Friday night edition of the Metro East Classic saw 48 hounds and handlers taking a shot at the $1000 added money. The weather and the coons cooperated again as all 12 cast winners returned with plus points. The winners decided to split and take $230 in open money and $250 in added money and call it a night.”
