Belfast, TN - The First Annual Tater Garner Memorial Hunt in Belfast, TN on October 8th and 9th was a grea t success. This Annual Event is dedicated to the remembrance of Tater. He would be proud to see that his son Stacy has done so well over this great weekend. Stacy, with Little Texas Rusty, finished 4th in the Memorial Hunt and was the Champion of the Pro-Male vs. Pro-Female Shoot-Out earlier this weekend. Family friend Todd Wilson stated "If Tater was still around, I would have to take the phone off the hook tonight, because he would be calling me at midnight to remind me how well they just did." Great job Stacy and Rusty!

The Memorial hunt had 34 entries and came down to a 3 dog final. Soda Pop, owned by Deron House of Piketon, OH came away with the title! Bonnie, owned by Harold Pillar of Columbus, KS finished with a close second. Raincrow, owned by Michael Sweeton and Lance Spivey came in 3rd for the Event. Congrats to the three finalists. Deron House had this to say about the weekend, "We had a great time, this is a great bunch of people, great running and super judging." Soda Pop earned $650 and a Tracker Tracking System, this makes him a PKC champion. With Bonnie's $309 payout, she has now earned the status of PKC Silver Champion, earning over $2,100! Congrats to the Final Four and all of the other cast winners who earned $50.

A special thanks goes out to the Belfast Beagle for donating the $500 added purse, the Belfast Market owner, Nathan Johnson also added $100 to go to the 1st place hound and Tracker for donating a Tracker Complete System.
