2007 Breeders Showcase Next Week

Aurora, KY – The 2007 edition of the PKC Breeders’ Showcase and Youth Appreciation Event will be held this next week at the beautiful Land Between The Lakes in Aurora, Kentucky! The event features Junior Division and Senior Division Pup Derbies with added purses of $750 each night. An Open Event, featuring a $500 Added Purse, will also be held each night; Thursday, Friday, and Saturday!

The two-year old pup, as well as, the one-year old pup posting the best combined score for the three nights of competition will receive and additional $500 and a large plaque designating it as the 2007 Breeders’ Showcase Champion for its’ efforts.

The “Showcase” begins with one hour warm-up hunts Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday at Paducah, KY, Clinton, KY, and Smithland, KY, respectively. Entry fee at each event is $50, and the deadline for entries is 8:00 PM.

The Breeders’ Showcase starts on Thursday night with a Junior Division Pup Derby (2006 Model pups), and a Senior Division Pup Derby (2005 Model pups), as well as, an Open Event. Entry fee is $60 per night, and the deadline is 6:00 PM CDST.

A Purina Tour Show, featuring an $800 Added Purse, will be held on Saturday, July 28th. Entry fee is $25, and the deadline is 1:00 PM CDST.

Our newly elected National Directors will begin meetings to consider any rule or policy changes beginning on Thursday morning. If you haven’t sent your proposal in, please do so!
