It "ALL" Begins On Thursday!
The events kick off on Thursday, October 18th with the first of three nights of elimination rounds for the Junior and Senior Super Stakes Championships. Semi-final casts will compete on Sunday night, with the finals being held on Monday, October 22nd.
The 2007 Fall Baby Stakes Championship will be held on Saturday, October 20th with an added purse of $250 up for grabs. Any certified Super Stakes pup born between November 1, 2006 and April 30, 2007 is eligible to compete. Participants will compete in one-hour casts, with the Final 4 recasting for placement and the bragging rights as the 2007 Fall Baby Stakes Champion!
The World Championship begins on Monday, October 22nd with the elimination rounds and runs through Thursday, October 25th. Any dog winning early and late on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday will advance to the semi-finals on Friday, October 26th. The finals will be held on Saturday, October 27th, with the eventual winner being crowned 2007 World Champion!
The 2007 Youth World Championship, co-sponsored by PKC, American Cooner, and Purina gets underway on Friday night, October 26th. Youth hunters from across the nation will converge on Aurora to compete for the title of 2007 Youth World Champion. The event is an elimination type event, with cast winners recasting for the right to compete in the finals. There is no entry fee, and we look forward to seeing all the young hunters from across the great United States!
The 2007 World Bench Show Championship will be held on Saturday, October 27th. Any dog will $100 in PKC Bench Show earnings is eligible to compete. In conjunction with the World Show Championship will be Extravaganza X, which will be held prior to the World Championship, with some astounding prizes, and the possibility of winning the required earnings to compete in the World Show Championship.
