2008 Jewett Classic - Tuesday

Jewett, TX – The 6th Annual Jewett Classic Coon Hunt got underway last night with a total entry of 105 dog s (47 pups and 60 open dogs). The event features a $1,500 Added Purse in the Open Event and a $1,000 Added Purse in the Pup Derby. Sponsored by the Jewett Volunteer Fire Department, the organization does a tremendous job with the event, providing steak dinners with all the trimmings in their kitchen, as well as, breakfast plates after the hunt.
