TALL CORN CLASSIC
Warm Up night at Winterset, IA
Wednesday night July 30

It was a beautiful n ight to hunt in Iowa, temperature in the mid sixties with a gentle breeze. Although there seem to be a lot of coon in this area, they were already setting up and not on the ground very much. Every cast reported a lot trailing and cold tracks. The cast I was along with saw around ten just setting up, not bad for a one-hour hunt. Entries were better than most folks expected with 34 smiling faces. The final four decided to hunt it off with first place paying in the neighborhood of $330 plus the added. Winners are as follows along with scores:
