Colt Brake Benefit Hunt Winners

Princeton, NC – The Colt Brake Benefit hunt was held at Princeton, North Carolina Friday and Saturday nigh ts with a $500 added purse each night. Below are listed the winners and final four from each night along with a report from Zac Brake, Colt’s brother. They raised $960 on Friday and $700 on Saturday and hunted 17 dogs both nights.

"I just wanted to thank everyone that showed up to the hunt. I relayed how everything turned out to my family and they were excited to hear how good it turned out. I would like to thank everyone who made a donation of some type whether they were hunting or not. All cast winners that got into the final 4 both nights donated a portion of the added purse back towards the Colt Brake Fund. I also want to thank everyone who made donations: Steve Pearson donated a Bright Eyes LED belt light to be raffled off, Pitt County CHA donated all of the added purse money and a donation towards the Colt Brake Fund, Darrin Merrit donated everything the Princeton club made back towards the Colt Brake Fund and Mrs. Massengill and her ladys cooked stew and hotdogs for everyone friday night and also had some cakes for us. Special thanks to those who made money donations to the Fund: Toisnot Swamp Coon Hunters Association (Wilson, NC), Johnny Dalton, Sean Hawley, and all guides donated the guide money back.
