Alan under the rules now you would not be allowed to turn the light off with out the permission of the cast/judge.

Brad, permission is not required, however we do suggest you inform the cast so there is no confusion about controlling your dog.

I always ask cast members first so i dont mess up there dogs in the cast , ...but if my dog is clearly near a road i turn it on for safety reasons , i never used it why the dogis in the woods only on road or near house
