No problem with that.
Prepare yourself and your hound. Hunt the dog, read the Blue Book, and your Good Book!

That seems completely unnecessary to me all the way around, but what do I know?!

I'm sorry but I can't understand for the life of me why in the world would you ever leave a tree & then come back to it we don't allow our dogs to leave a tree & come back why should we??? If you're hunting one that won't stay for more than 5min then it don't need to win anyways JMO thanks.

Simple fix: No handler goes to handle a dog without a judge present open or pro rules. This would fix a lot of problems. If your scared they will not stay don't tree them!

what if the handler leaves and goes to his dog and he is on a bush that is slick and he walks him over to closest big den tree ? nobody saw what tree he was on so he gets circled and beats you ! worst rule ever

Better to leave shine time and to handle ur dog than shine a tree and have some other person go and move ur dog or turn ur collar off. I know everyone has had their dog come treed and want to go handle it either going to a tree or during a tree being shined. Maybe it's the same when u got one guy trying to burn time up shining a tree because he is in the lead. When mine is treed I'm going to mine! Plus it gives the other guy extra time to find his coon!!
