Youth hunters do not overlook this hunt. The Wiggins club and their support crew always go above and beyond to put on a fine hunt and youth fun day for any youth that wants to attend. That’s 2 nights at a chance to get a cast win and be qualified for the youth world. Also winning your cast will put a little extra money in your pocket. Plus on Saturday they have a day full of events for youth of all ages whether you hunt or not. They always have good prizes for signing up to an event plus even better prizes for winning an event. On top of that, they’ll treat you good, feed you good, and are always glad to see you. Any youth from any state may compete in these events. To enter in the hunts you just need to be a current PKC member and if your not, just bring your social security number, a copy of your birth certificate and they will get you signed up on site.

Mark your calendar to be at the Stone County Fairgrounds in Wiggins Mississippi for the weekend of March 12th - 13th. We will begin Friday night March 12th with a PKC $30 open youth event; deadline 7:00pm. All cast winners will receive $100 and qualify for the PKC Youth World Championship. Saturday, March 13th registration for our annual Youth Fun Day begins at 9:00 am with events beginning at 10:00 am. All Fun Day activities and food are free for all youth. We will have great give-aways such as leashes, hats, bottle holders and much more; as well as great prizes for event winners including dog boxes, show benches, gift certificates and much more. Come join us for a day with friends and family and experience the fun of participating with other youth as you take part in the coon squalling contest, treeing contest, drag race and bench show. Saturday night will be the PKC Mississippi State Youth Championship; no previous earnings are required and entry fee is $30; deadline is 6:00 pm. Youth from all states are eligible to participate. All cast winners will receive $100 and qualify for the PKC Youth Championship. In addition, the top four will receive dog boxes and all other cast winners will receive gift certificates.

Good news March 12th and 13th is right around the corner. The Wiggins team sure could use your assistance/help in passing the word to your friends and family members to come join us for a wonderful fun filled weekend. Please make phone calls, send e-mails, text messages, and carrier pigeons or any other means you can think of to pass the word and gather up people to come out. Remember to mention no prior earnings required for youth to compete in any event, youth from all states are eligible to compete, all day event entries are free, all youth will eat free day and night, night hunts have $30 entry fee. There will be many prizes and lots of fun. We truly thank each one of you in advance for your effort and support.
