Thank you parents!
I judged four rounds this weekend of youth hunters. Two early rounds, and two late rounds. In all four rounds, every youth hunter was respectful, knowledgeable, and kind to all of their competitors. The sportsmanship in these casts was second to none, and all of the youth hunters enjoyed themselves. These were wonderful kids and a joy to be on a cast with. We all know that starts with their parents, who were also a joy to have with us. Not a single word was said during the competition by the parents to myself while I was judging, and I barely knew they were there. So thank you again to all the kids and their guardians for a great weekend.
