NY Clubs we will need to pick a location for next years state hunt at the state meeting. Be prepared to nominate your club if your club is willing to have it

NEW YORK STATE ASSOCIATION
2024 Minutes of Meeting – Copenhagen, NY
Friday – April 26, 2024
Meeting called to order by State President Herm Flowers at 7:00 pm.
Herm thanked the Copenhagen Club for hosting this years State Hunt. Also thanked Matt Wilday for his help.
Copies of the state escrow are on the tables.
Discussion about next year's State Hunt location. Also talked about if raising the added purse hunt entry fee would help the host club. With West Valley the only one interested in hosting next year’s hunt it was agreed to have it there next year. Herm also mentioned that other clubs could help in funding the state hunt.
This years State Youth Hunt will be held at Branchport on July 13th. The Franklinville Club said they would cover the entries. Herm thanked the Fort Plain Club for their donation to last year’s Youth Hunt. Copenhagen Club will host next year’s Youth Hunt.
Went over a few hunt procedures and Bylaws. Passed out awards for State Champion. State Leader. Youth State Champion and State Youth Leader.
Opened the floor for comments and with no comments meeting was adjourned at 7:30 pm.
