Re: A hypothetical question
Thermal shouldn’t have anything to do with scoring u have to score what u see
I like one that makes you feel lonely

Re: A hypothetical question
Steven Smith I agree . The thermal can not be used to score the tree. The issue is there is a judge scoring ghost coons for a handler and probably getting a kick back for doing it. We just need honest judges and the problem is solved. Easier said than done lol.

I don’t even know who is in discussion here… but I agree with this 1,000%!!!!! Y’all know I judge a bunch of the PC’s and my thermal gets left at the house when I go!!!

Re: A hypothetical question
Sounds like PKC had better get control, quit with the greed and start paying attention to the what, who, and where the big money pro classics are going.. I’ve heard of some funny business going on here lately at the 2,500$ and above hopefully somebody decides to get control

Why? I would hope my judge has his, and when I'm judging I definitely carry mine.
I still have to see that it is a coon.

Re: A hypothetical question
How do you know that PKC doesn't have a system or a "list"? Has anyone ever actually called PKC to report such an occurrence?

Re: A hypothetical question
The non hunting judge did see a coon he didn't score the tree off the thermal and maybe the guys bashing how the judges do their job they should probably start judging more hunts.

Ok Gabe it ain't judges being bashed it is a particular judge and like I said if the Milk is sour it needs throwing out and he is sour bud !! As one man in the sport would say You can believe that sh*t !! Lol.
Here is some math for you 7 different cast= 28 that is 56 eye balls not counting the 10,000 dollar thermals at the trees and then even panel members not seeing the coons also in the woods and only this judge with hawk eyes implanted in his head appartly seeing this handlers coons are being scored. You do the math bud ! The meat aint there. I know he is your buddy and you are trying to help here but the Milk is sour like I said throw it out !!

Re: A hypothetical question
There is nothing in the rules prohibiting a judge from using a thermal as outlined in rule #10.A.1).
10. PLUS POINTS A. 1) Night vision and/or heat sensing binocular or monocular scopes may be used as an aid to determine the location of raccoon or off-game in thick or leafy trees. The majority of the cast under Open Event Rules, or non-hunting judge under Pro Rules, must first verify if there is game (raccoon or off-game) before scoring.

So Zach your saying if you are in the finals everyone sees something in the thermals and the judge after 5 minutes sees a coon and no one else does do u want plussed up or circle im pretty sure u would want it plussed up remember he is a non hunting judge he swears that he seen an eye thats on him only thing I can say is go start judging if u don't like whats going on then step up and judge make coon hunts great again lol

Re: A hypothetical question
I’m still wondering what “I” should do if this hypothetical question I’ve asked ever occurs. If the judge sees this raccoon and the panel members don’t. Is this tree over turned or not?
Yes or no?
I don’t need rule 4a/b I need a yes or no answer

Re: A hypothetical question
Gabe I am saying 56 eye balls in 7 cast not seeing these coons = Sour Milk. (Throw it out ). The thermal has nothing to do with this post. That is just a diversion that has been throwed up in this post to get away from the core of the problem. This is about a judge scoring coons that are not up the trees period and no one else sees these ghost coons but him and the handler. I have gotten numerous phone calls from people that this also happened to from this judge and handler. Sour Milk man it's gotta go gotta go gotta go.

It’s no different than any other question asked of a panel in the woods. If the panel sees enough evidence to overturn a judge they can. If there is not enough evidence, they will back the judge.
Specifically, if the pro judge scores a coon in a thick leafy tree and the panel can’t find it, they do not have the evidence to overturn the judge.
