2021 Michigan Summer Madness No "Leash-Lock" Trial
The idea of eliminating dogs being “Leash-Locked” (after all dogs have been declared treed) has been a hot topic of discussion over the last several years, at least as far back as 2005. Back then, PKC introduced this proposal as a “trial period rule change” for the 2006 Blue Ribbon Pro Series only. After the first Pro Hunt that year, it was not received well by the hunters, so the trial period ended after just one hunt. This rule change was also proposed and voted on during the July 2019 Rule Change Period. The PKC National Directors again voted this proposal down by a small margin. Since then, many members have asked that it be brought up for a new vote. Before a new vote is taken, we want to give it a fair trial period of six nights in a row, and get input from all of the competitors and guides.

2021 Tennessee River Classic Cast Staying Together Trial
The concept of keeping all cast members together throughout the entire hunting time has been discussed quite a bit over the last several years. This previously proposed rule change was voted on during the July 2019 Rule Change Period. The PKC National Directors voted the proposal down by a very small margin. Since then, many members have asked that it be brought up for a vote again.
