GREAT MOVE, this will make a big difference. And to all the people complaining. I Garentee you spend 5 dollars on a whole lot worst than investing it in the sport/hobby you enjoy!!!

I have a simple question for PKC:will 100% of the $5 increase go to the hunters or will PKC retain 10% for administrative purposes? Real simple question.

What about the guy that just goes to an open event to practice their dog? The guy that isn’t interested in running a state race or going to the world hunt? You’ve now increased the entry fee by $5 to something that doesn’t benefit them in any way. This will benefit the guys that will make it into the top 16 or got to the world hunt, but not everyone can do so.

I'm just glad to see my great state president voted again without getting the opinions of any of the hunters. On top of it, the sob doesn't even go to any hunts himself anymore.. smh...

To some, $5 is a lot.

I’ll still be going to hunts.

Great idea IF the money goes where it is supposed to.

Print out a monthly total per state for EVERYONE to see and keep up with. Just my opinion.
I'm not perfect, just Forgiven........God Bless.

100% of the $5 increase will go to the hunters. No administrative fees will be taken from the increase.

I know it was ur proposal... but u don't hafta b offended. I just dont think it is going to help $30 hunt numbers at all. I personally think it will have the direct opposite effect on them. It very well might help State Race numbers. But u can't compete anymore by going to $30 hunts, paying $35 and winning $54 at a time. Therefore I believe they will slowly get phased out completely. Maybe that's ok with most people, but I personally don't like it.

I voted yes on this proposal i dont know the long term effect of this on open events but i do know this .What we are doing right now isnt working an i feel main problem is people want to complain more than they want to participate .There are hunts that should fit everyone money wise now days .Pick what you can afford an go that is only thing that will help anyone .
I like one that makes you feel lonely

I can't hunt right now due to health reasons. But to you guys that wanna just compete. And are not interested in no state race and $5 more is upsetting you. Then go hunt in UKC hunts. If you just wanna compete. Times have changed. It'll never be like it was. We're lucky PKC has evolved with the times. They haven't forgotten the little man. That's what this was intended for! Come on you can't go hunt for $35? You spend more on cigarettes, snuff and beer!! What's happened to just enjoying the sport? It's a dying sport here in TX. We need whatever we can get to get a shot in the arm! Get people somewhat excited again! If something don't catch the eye of the younger generation. Then this thing is a sinking ship! Good job to ALL that work hard to better PKC! I believe they're doing everything they can to better it to the ones willing to participate. To those who are not. Well your gonna get left standing with the tissues for your tears JMO!

Agree phased out. If your going to run a state race on $30 hunts you better have one that's unbeatable. $50 double headers, $100 double headers rather you can afford them or not someone else can, there's only 16 spots in every state race!

There great opportunity for serious hunters 30 dollar hunt will have to phase out if your serious about state race 50 and 100 dollar double will have to be new norm.i really hope it works it's interesting .but remember in the end if it catches on and gets big .the big money your hunting for thank your fellow members they are funding it

A lot of people don’t have a $100 to fork out to every time they go to a hunt but that’s what you got to do to run a state race. You might as well go ahead and drop the $30 hunts the $30 truck tickets will be the next thing to go.The Economy is going down hill and the hunts are not helping out keep going up but it is what it is.
