Oh my goodness Johnny D, I have been goaded into entering. I know that if a wore out 69 yr old guy with a wore out Ol' Redbone can enter then you can enter. Now put up or shut up. That is what they told me. :P

They don't even have a full entry for this one. Maybe they won't get 16 and I won't have to hunt but I can brag that I was ready to go.
Johnny D, I have an old female that you can hunt. :p

Why don't they have a true Senior World hunt: qualifying rounds Thursday and Friday night of regular World hunt; $100 entry fee with $250 buy back; hunt early round only with cast winners advancing to Sat night; only have to win one round early to advance; should have about 16 dogs to hunt early Sat night and 4 late. Purse would be entry fees plus $5,000 donated by a sponser. Should be around $15,000 total purse. :P

Would only require 3-5 extra guides per night and with no late round they could hunt out of Salem or any satellite. And they would only have to hunt 90 minutes. Should be that many older gentlemen that would love to guide one of these casts when they wouldn't guide a bunch of youngsters in a 2 hr cast with the deep and lonely dogs of today. Also with no late round and 90 min hunt, deadline and draw could be after regular World draw was over. Should attract only Seniors that thought they couldn't keep up with handlers in the regular World. That would get rid of the 55 is or isn't a Senior arguement. Surely any Senior in good enough shape would hunt in the regular World if you held them both at the same time. :P

I like Richards idea. I'm not interested in driving 400 plus miles to hunt 90 minutes. I bet that with the suggested format, 5 of the 6 events will split.

Guys I know it's not what we really wanted but it's a starting point let's all do our part and fill this thing and show them older guys are still interested then who knows might get more of what we want

It looks like the Masters Classic is not what everyone wanted. Will PKC go back to the drawing board and give them what they wanted or are the old guys just too much trouble? I guess that we should just be content to be spectators. We had our turn and now we should just sit idly by on the sidelines and watch the younger generation go at it. Kinda like an old dog that sits in the kennel while the pups get hunted every night. It is kinda sad, isn't it? Oh well....
