In 2002 Cockfighting in Oklahoma was made illegal by popular vote. 565,967 for 441,220 against it was handled at the state level. Same election Brad Henry (D) was elected governor. This came after the supreme court upheld the right for cockfighting in Louisiana, Oklahoma and one other state. GWB was president but was not his doing.

There is about 250 on cords 1/4 of mile down the road from me. No better person on earth! Abraham Lincoln had a quote about chicken fighting. I'm watching Mississippi Burning at the moment. Although it's only a movie it shows the pain and suffering that black america had to go through back then. Some of them folks are still alive, and no doubt shared their experiences with their kids. I won't be a part of what's dividing america. There won't be no flag in my house, or any of the racist crap. I love the Dukes of Hazzard, and will watch it without any problem. I liked Bill Cosby, and feel he deserves to be executed for raping all those women. Gay rights came through the other day, and I support it. I have no right to force others to abide by opinions. In my personal religous beliefs, I believe homosexuality is a sin. I believe the church is having way worse problems from divorce, the families being broke up, and children suffering from broken families. As a christian I feel obligated to reach everyone to christ, and if I'm racist and homophobic then that eliminates plenty of people I can reach to God. The plan of salvation should be the focus of my preaching text to a lost world, and feeding meat to the babes can destroy them. One thing about the SCOTUS ruling, I don't have to be gay, marry a dude, or go to hell for someone else's sin.
