The City of Salem, Illinois and the Marion County, Illinois Health Department have issued the following guidelines and mandatory requirements in order for PKC to be able to hold the World Championship at Salem on October 19-24, 2020.
• Everyone entering the Marion County Fairgrounds building will be required to have his/her temperature checked. Anyone testing with a higher than normal temperature will be required to leave the hunt site.
[It works much better if only one person per dog comes through the line.]
• Everyone entering the Marion County Fairgrounds Building will be required to wear a mask; NO EXCEPTIONS!
[Masks are not required outside.]
• There will be no more than fifty (50) people allowed in the host site building at any time during the duration of the event. We plan to keep close watch on these numbers, and should we ask you not to enter the building due to exceeding the number allowed, please abide by our instructions.
Any member unwilling to have his/her temperature checked and/or wear a mask while inside, we respectfully ask that you not go into the Marion County Fairgrounds building.
[These guidelines were not set by PKC! They are guidelines issued by the Health Department that must be followed in order to hold the event.
