World Championship Next Week!

Salem, IL – The 2009 Fall Super Stakes Championship, World Championship, Youth World Championship, and Fall Baby Stakes Championship gets underway next week in Salem, Illinois.
The events kick off on Thursday, October 22nd with the first of three nights of elimination rounds for the Sophomore and Senior Super Stakes Championships. Semi-final casts will compete on Sunday night, October 25th, with the finals being held on Monday, October 26th.
The 2009 Fall Baby Stakes Championship will be held on Saturday, October 24th with an added purse of $500 up for grabs! Any certified Super Stakes pup born between November 1, 2008 and April 30, 2009 is eligible to compete. Participants will compete in one-hour casts, with the Final 4 recasting for placement and the bragging rights as the 2009 Fall Baby Stakes Champion!
The World Championship begins on Monday, October 26th with the elimination rounds and runs through Thursday, October 29th. Any dog winning casts early and late on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday will advance to the semi-finals on Friday, October 30th. The finals will be held on Saturday, October 31st, with the eventual winner being crowned 2009 World Champion!
The 2009 Youth World Championship, co-sponsored by PKC, American Cooner, and Purina gets underway on Friday night, October 30th. Youth hunters from across the nation will converge on Salem to compete for the title of 2009 Youth World Champion and a $4,000 scholarship! The event is an elimination type event, with cast winners recasting for the right to compete in the finals. There is no entry fee, and we look forward to seeing all the young hunters from across the great United States!
